Mission Statement

The Coalition for Regenerative Stem Cell Medicine (CRSCM) seeks to advance medical treatments that use the body's own stem cells to help repair or regenerate diseased or injured tissues. Cord blood is a preferred source of stem cells for regenerative applications and is currently being studied in clinical trials to treat conditions which currently have limited therapeutic options and require costly and complicated ongoing care.

Through engagement with the federal government, CRSCM seeks to expand public understanding of the medical value of cord blood stem cells, improve access to cord blood banking through greater affordability, and thereby enable enhanced personal responsibility in future healthcare decisions. Above all, CRSCM considers cord blood to be an irreplaceable health resource that should never be thrown away.
