Suggest a CRSCM Member

Thank you for being a CRSCM grassroots advocate!

We have found that some of our most active members get to us by word of mouth so we are glad you are here.  As you consider organizations to suggest for CRSCM membership, please keep in mind that CRSCM members include of non-profits, healthcare organizations, businesses, professional associations and disease advocacy groups with interest in regenerative medicine and stem cells.  CRSCM members are different in how they approach these issues, but they all care deeply about moving regenerative medicine forward.

CRSCM members enjoy many benefits. Some of these include:

  • Becoming a part of a strong voice for national action: CRSCM’s primary focus is federal advocacy efforts that raise awareness of cord blood stem cells and make cord blood banking more affordable for all American families.  By joining CRSCM, organizations will increase their ability to play a leading and active role in advancing stem cell science in regenerative therapies at the federal level.
  • Helping to increase public awareness:  Above all, CRSCM considers cord blood to be an irreplaceable health resource that should never be thrown away.   Each member’s voice will help create and promote greater awareness of cord blood’s use in regenerative medicine.  By joining CRSCM, organizations will help CRSCM advocate greater public understanding of the medical value of cord blood stem cells; improve access to cord blood banking through greater affordability, and thereby enable personal responsibility in future healthcare decisions.
  • Connecting with like-minded organizations:  CRSCM’s members include a wide and diverse array or interests, sizes and geographic location, but they all share one common goal – advancing the future of healthcare in regenerative medicine.  Regardless of an organization’s unique purpose, it is likely that similar organizations are also members of the coalition.  By joining CRSCM, organizations will have distinct opportunities to network and form partnerships with other organizations in a mutually beneficial manner.
  • Staying informed on cutting edge therapies:  Cord blood has already been demonstrated to contain stem cells that can be beneficial in regenerative therapies.  Membership in CRSCM will give an organization access to a wide variety of resources including peer-to-peer studies?, videos, white papers, etc. on new treatments and advances in regenerative stem cell medicine.

So, if you made it this far and think you have a good candidate organization for CRSCM membership; please click here to fill out the form or contact CRSCM’s Executive Director, Tom Carpenter, at 202-662-3741 or carpenter@crscm.org.  Thank you again for your advocacy and we look forward to hearing from you.
